Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 23, 2026
These terms apply to your use of periadvocacy.com and to services, guides and programs from Perinatal Education & Advocacy LLC ("PEA," "we," "us"). By using the site or our services, you agree to them.
1. Educational services only PEA provides education, advocacy preparation and nonclinical maternal navigation. We do not provide medical care, mental health treatment, diagnosis, clinical case management or care coordination, and we do not prescribe, interpret symptoms or test results, or recommend specific treatment. Nothing on this site or in our sessions, guides, newsletter or community is medical advice. Always consult your licensed healthcare provider about your health.
2. No provider relationship Using this site, booking a session, buying a guide or taking part in the Postpartum Data Project does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client or other healthcare relationship.
3. Emergencies We do not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are in danger or having a medical emergency, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988, or call the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline at 1-833-TLC-MAMA (1-833-852-6262).
4. Sessions and packages Sessions are booked through our scheduling page. Package details are shared during your free consultation. Payment terms: payment is due at booking. Cancellation policy: sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice; missed sessions without notice are not refunded. Package expiration: package sessions must be used within 12 months of purchase.
5. Digital guides and products Guides are for your personal, non-commercial use. Refund policy: because guides are delivered digitally, all sales are final.
6. Intellectual property All content on this site and in our guides, sessions and materials (text, graphics, logos, handouts and course content) belongs to PEA or is used with permission. You may not copy, share, resell or create derivative works from it without our written permission. Healthcare organizations may use materials only as described in a signed agreement.
7. Community guidelines In our Discord community, please be respectful, protect others' privacy and don't share medical advice as fact or promote products. We may remove posts or members at our discretion. Peer conversations are not professional advice.
8. Postpartum Data Project Participation is voluntary and anonymous. By submitting a survey, you agree that your responses may be used in aggregate and quoted anonymously as described on the project page and in our Privacy Policy.
9. Third-party links and services We link to outside organizations and use third-party services (such as Calendly, Substack and Discord). We don't control and aren't responsible for their content, policies or availability. A listing is not an endorsement.
10. Disclaimer Our site and services are provided "as is." We work to keep information accurate and current but make no guarantees about completeness, accuracy or results.
11. Limitation of liability To the fullest extent allowed by law, PEA is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, services or materials. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid PEA for the service at issue.
12. Indemnification You agree to hold PEA harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the site, services or materials, or your violation of these terms.
13. Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
14. Changes We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
