Perinatal Education & Advocacy LLC ("PEA," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through periadvocacy.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are PEA is a perinatal education and advocacy business based in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. We provide education and nonclinical navigation. We are not a healthcare provider, and we do not provide medical or mental health care.

2. Information you choose to share

• Email. If you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and provide the services you ask about.

• Booking a consultation or session. Appointments are scheduled through Calendly, which collects your name, email and any answers you give when booking. Calendly's own privacy policy applies to that information.

• Purchases. If you buy a guide or package, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.

• Newsletter. Our newsletter is hosted on Substack. If you subscribe, Substack collects your email address under its own privacy policy.

• Community. Our community is hosted on Discord. Anything you post there is governed by Discord's terms and privacy policy and may be visible to other members.

 

3. Postpartum Data Project surveys The Postpartum Data Project collects responses through voluntary online surveys hosted by Google Forms. Surveys do not ask for names or identifying information, participants must be 18 or older, and any question may be skipped. Please do not include names, medical record details or other information that could identify you or another person. Responses are reviewed in aggregate, and anonymous quotations are shared only when they cannot reasonably identify anyone. The project is not a clinical study and is not reviewed by an institutional review board.

 

4. Information collected automatically Our website is hosted on Wix. Like most websites, it uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, understand how visitors use it (pages viewed, device and browser type, general location) and improve it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not work as intended.

 

5. Health information Please do not send medical records, test results or detailed health information by email. Because PEA is not a healthcare provider, information you share with us is not covered by HIPAA. We keep anything you share confidential and use it only to provide the education you request.

 

6. How we use information To respond to you; schedule and provide sessions; deliver purchases; send updates you've signed up for; improve our website and services; and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

 

7. When we share information Only with service providers that help us run the business (such as Wix, Calendly, Substack and payment processors), when required by law, or to protect safety or rights. We don't share information for others' marketing.

 

8. How long we keep it We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete it.

 

9. Security We use reasonable safeguards, but no website or email transmission is completely secure.

 

10. Your choices and rights You may ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from Substack at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law. To make a request, contact us through our Contact page.

 

11. Children Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

 

12. Links to other websites Our site links to other organizations and resources. We aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.
